TimberTech®, a leading manufacturer of composite decking, railing and fencing products, has raised the bar with the introduction of Desert Bronze - a new, unique color in TimberTech’s XLM, extreme low maintenance decking line.
The Desert Bronze planks closely emulate the pattern and color of a tropical Ipè. The rich brown color is enhanced with TimberTech’s proprietary color streaking process that provides a unique pattern to each and every plank, similar to real tropical hardwoods.

XLM provides customers unparalleled scratch, stain and mildew resistance resulting in more enjoyment and less maintenance. And for additional peace of mind, TimberTech’s XLM is the only all-PVC decking boards on the market to have received a Class A Flame Spread Rating, one of the most stringent ratings available for exterior fire resistance. The Mountain Cedar, RiverRock and SandRidge planks meet the California State Fire Marshal and San Diego requirements for use in Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) areas.

Forty percent lighter than TimberTech’s wood plastic composite planks, XLM is an extremely durable expanded polymer decking material that features a solid cap surface to reinforce its structural integrity and is available in grooved or non-grooved planks. Grooved planks are designed to work with TimberTech’s CONCEALoc™, a stainless steel hidden fastener which provides quick installation and consistent gapping while enabling a fastener-free surface.

XLM is offered in four long-lasting colors – Mountain Cedar, RiverRock, SandRidge and Desert Bronze – and is available in 12’, 16’ and 20’ lengths as well as matching 12” fascia and 7 ¼” stair riser in 12’ lengths. All are backed with an industry-leading 25-year limited residential warranty.
