Internal welded construction gives new SpecRound fence panel higher strength, better appearance
HAMDEN, Conn. — Specrail has introduced its SpecRound welded aluminum residential fence panel, which is constructed using internal welded technology for strength and aesthetics.
The panel utilizes 5/8 in. diameter round pickets with 1-1/2 in. x 1 in. rectangular structural tube rails.
According to Specrail president Bill Batts, the round pickets are stronger than traditional squares and better resist flexing. And having four walls rather than three, the rectangular rails offer a strength advantage over U-channel, he said.
