Joliet preservation panel to hear fence controversy

JOLIET, IL — The city's Historic Preservation Commission will discuss a Western Avenue fence controversy at its Feb. 25. meeting.

"We'll be reviewing a certificate of appropriateness to see if we can approve a different design," said Barb Newberg, secretary for the commission.
