ANDERSON COUNTY — Two days after Anderson County sheriff's deputies obtained arrest warrants for men after a Starr couple's property was damaged, a contractor ran for cover when gunfire was heard coming from the men's house.
The gunshot was reported at noon Tuesday on Brown Road in Starr.
Two days earlier, a 40-year-old woman on Brown Road had told deputies that she witnessed her neighbors, both men, ages 35 and 70, using a hammer and kitchen knife in an effort to pull down her chain-link fence, according to Deputy W.T. Cunningham's report.
