LAS VEGAS, FEBUARY, 2011: Rhinorock is exhibiting its lightweight concrete fence at the FenceTech trade show in Las Vegas. RhinoRock’s proprietary manufacturing process produces a six foot tall by nine foot long concrete fencing panel that only weighs 230 lbs. Normally a traditional concrete fencing panel would weigh 2300 lbs. The RhinoRock fence has been marketed since October of 2009. The panel features an attractive stone design on both sides of the panel.

New inventor: He-Man hinge designer Peter Singleton.A GATE that swings, without fail, is every farmer's dream.

That is the goal of Warrnambool fencing contractor Peter Singleton, who has designed a new gate hinge that he claims can withstand 10 times the pressure of usual gates.

His He-Man design uses two threads, top and bottom, to give extra strength. Curved plates secure the threads to the post, and also prevent the post from splitting and digging into it and weakening the hinge.
